Job summary

CBRE Needham, MA is seeking a facilities maintenance supervisor to oversee daily operations, security, cleaning, mail, and conference room setups. You will train staff, monitor system performance, and coordinate work orders to ensure smooth facility function.

The role involves supervising up to five staff, and ensuring adherence to CBRE policies and privacy protocols. Evening, weekend, and holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
• Valid Driver's License (Class III) preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in general maintenance/repair.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, inventory management, mailroom, and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise facility operations including security, cleaning, mail, maintenance, and conference room setup.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor non-licensed repairs; train staff and use equipment.
• Notify supervisor of staffing issues, emergencies, and system malfunctions; provide progress updates.
• Monitor facility systems and service contracts (HVAC, electrical, security) and respond per CBRE protocol.
• Coordinate work orders with facility departments; maintain records, logs and reports.
• May open/close facility, lead contract personnel, assist scheduling and inventory, and perform other duties as assigned.
