Job summary

Our client, a leader in building management and operational services, seeks an Operating Engineer in Malvern, PA to support BAS-driven maintenance and system management. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent required; coursework or degree in a technology-related field preferred.
Proficiency with Word and Excel; comfortable with computer applications and systems.
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage critical building systems, including mechanical infrastructure, fire and life safety via BAS.
Conduct virtual tours of facility systems to verify proper operation and BAS functionality.
Respond to and escalate incidents, providing technical support and troubleshooting using BAS data.
Support building shutdown activities, ensure proper notifications/approvals, and coordinate work orders with technicians and vendors.
Prepare detailed shift reports to ensure seamless communication and operational continuity.
