Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage critical building systems, including mechanical infrastructure, fire and life safety via BAS.
• Conduct virtual tours of facility systems to verify proper operation and BAS functionality.
• Respond to and escalate incidents, providing technical support and troubleshooting using BAS data.
• Support building shutdown activities, ensure proper notifications/approvals, and coordinate work orders with technicians and vendors.
• Prepare detailed shift reports to ensure seamless communication and operational continuity.

Our client, a leader in building management and operational services, is seeking an Operating Engineer to join their team. As an Operating Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Operations Department supporting building maintenance and system management. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, resilience, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operating Engineer

Location: Malvern, PA

Pay Range: $29 to $32 per hour

What's the Job?

• Monitor and manage critical building systems, including mechanical infrastructure, fire, and life safety systems through Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Conduct virtual tours of facility systems to verify proper operation and maintain knowledge of BAS functionality.
• Respond to and **escalate** incidents that could disrupt business operations, providing technical support and troubleshooting equipment issues using BAS data.
• Support building shutdown activities, ensuring proper notifications and approvals are in place, and coordinate work orders with technicians and vendors.
• Prepare detailed shift reports to ensure seamless communication and operational continuity across teams.

What's Needed?
