Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support operations for a specified location or campus. You will help implement policies, ensure safety, manage vendor contracts, and maintain documentation.

You’ll work with tenants and stakeholders to maintain high service levels. Core duties include coordinating maintenance, budgeting, reporting, and compliance tasks, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in facilities management or related field required.
• 3–5 years of relevant facility management experience in commercial/industrial real estate.
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred.
• CFM/IFMA/BOMA certifications recommended.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day operations of the facility(s) or campus, including janitorial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and maintenance.
• Supervise all maintenance programs relating to interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties.
• Respond promptly to requests for building maintenance and contracts programs; coordinate with occupants and vendors.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation and reports (POs, logs, drawings, insurance, etc.).
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures and purchase orders.
• Contribute to five-year capital budgets and maintenance plans.
• Collect and analyze data to assess facility management objectives.
• Understand management contracts, vendor agreements, and related requirements.
• Monitor insurer compliance and coordinate claims as required.
• Proactively inspect the facility and report findings to the Facility Manager.
