Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in New York, NY seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager for a financial services client. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate vendor activities, manage budgets, and maintain building systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and top-tier service.

You will partner with Engineering, Security, Workplace Experience, and leadership to deliver hospitality-driven facilities management, safety, and continuous improvement across a Class A environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 4+ years in Facilities Management or related field.
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated corporate environments.
• Knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, invoices, POs, financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across assigned floors and departments.
• Manage work orders from initiation to completion.
• Support management of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting).
• Coordinate vendor activities and after-hours work.
• Identify risks and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop Facilities Coordinators and junior staff.
