Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Facilities Manager in New York, NY to support the Americas region. You will manage facilities services, coordinate with the client and vendors, and lead the FM team to meet contract standards.

The role requires 5+ years in facilities management, experience with contracts and supplier management, strong IT literacy and EHS knowledge, and degree-level education. You will drive operational improvements, report performance monthly, and ensure health and safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Facilities Management role within a large commercial organization.
• Experience owning facilities contracts and supplier/contractor management.
• Experience with quality, environmental, and EHS management systems.
• Desirable: related qualifications in FM industry.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• High level of IT literacy.
• Practical experience in contract delivery.
• Knowledge of hard and soft services.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Leadership to drive account-wide initiatives in terms of Engineering Service Delivery, Workplace / Employee Experience, Energy and Sustainability, Transformation, Client First Interface, and delivery of the Annual Account Plan.
• Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography.
• Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position.
• Identify opportunities for improved operation and innovative solutions to drive efficiencies (process and cost).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, environment, and risk management policies across the portfolio.
• Manage and track all assurance and control reviews.
• Manage repairs and maintenance, minor works, and other requests, tracking to completion.
• Manage vendor performance ensuring services are delivered in accordance with the contract and to agreed standards.
• Coordinate internally with other teams which may include Workplace Experience / Effectiveness, Transformation, Finance, Project Management, and Engineering.
• Support and manage small construction projects as directed by the client and manager.
• Be the key point of contact for third-party owners (landlords), ensuring lease compliance and timely reporting.
• Participate in client planning meetings and ensure FM support for events.
• Work with client on OpEx/CapEx budgets and impact.
• Deliver management reports and monthly/quarterly data.
• Procurement of goods and services for client buildings using Jones Lang LaSalle sourcing teams.
• Space evaluation and planning, updating floor plans.
• Project management during built-out phases with architects/landlords.
• Coach and guide project teams through lifecycles.
• Be available for 24/7 emergency call support.
