Job summary

Bill Alexander Ford Lincoln seeks an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager for a full-time contract to assist the Facilities Manager with daily operations, maintenance, safety, and overall facility functionality.

You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage vendors, monitor safety standards, assist with budgets and purchase orders, and support moves, space planning, and facility improvement projects to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of facilities management or related experience.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, vendor management, and safety practices.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience coordinating contractors and facility projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily management and operation of facilities and workspaces.
• Develop and implement facility maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify maintenance, safety, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor contractor work to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Assist with budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and service contracts.
• Maintain records for maintenance activities and assets.
• Support moves, space planning, and facility improvement projects.
• Respond to employee requests and facility-related concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, building requirements, and regulations.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and business continuity.
