Job summary

Bill Alexander Ford Lincoln is seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team on a full-time contract basis. You will assist the Facilities Manager in overseeing daily operations, maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of company facilities, coordinating maintenance, vendor management, and ensuring a safe, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3+ years in facilities management, building operations, or related roles.
• Knowledge of facility operations, preventive maintenance, vendor management, and safety practices.
• Experience coordinating contractors and facility-related projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with maintenance/work-order systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily management and operation of company facilities and workspaces.
• Support maintenance schedules, procedures, and preventive/corrective activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor facility conditions, inspections, and safety standards.
• Aid in budgeting, invoices, purchase orders, and service contracts.
• Maintain records for maintenance, inspections, assets, and vendor services.
• Support moves, space planning, and facility improvement projects.
• Respond to employee requests and ensure timely, professional service.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and business continuity procedures.
