Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a General Trades Technician to provide comprehensive maintenance across facilities. You will perform routine repairs, respond to service requests, and conduct preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems.

The role requires a HS diploma, 1–3 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather; on-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• 1-3 years experience in building repairs and maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing and able to work occasional on-call shifts.
• Must be a team player with strong work ethic and reliable.
• Requires self-motivation, good communication, and ability to interact with clients.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Responds to service requests including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and other maintenance items.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and buildings in good condition.
• Operates plant equipment and building automation systems.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and inventory; uses CMMS per policy.
• Trains other technicians and provides mentorship as needed.
• Available for on-call services as required.
