Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC is seeking a General Trades Technician to perform maintenance on facilities nationwide. You will troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems, executing preventative maintenance and repairs.

The role includes operating building automation equipment, maintaining tools, and mentoring junior technicians while coordinating via CMMS. The position emphasizes safety, on-call availability, and adherence to CGL standards, OSHA requirements, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1-3 years experience in building repairs and maintenance preferred.
General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
Able to perform outdoor work in all weather and lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness for occasional on-call shifts and strong teamwork.
Computer proficient and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
Responds to service requests for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lights and other systems.
Performs routine preventative maintenance to keep units running smoothly.
Assists in safety and compliance with established procedures.
Operates plant equipment and building automation systems.
Maintains tools and inventory; uses CMMS for work orders.
Trains other technicians and provides mentorship as needed.
Available for on-call services as required.
