Job summary

Oklahoma State University in Stillwater is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to join the Facilities Management FSS-Moves team. You will supervise moves, recycling, special event setups, and surplus needs for campus operations, coordinating schedules and duties to keep staffing ready for emergencies and routine work.

The role requires strong customer service and teamwork, with a focus on safety and efficient operation, including occasional after-hours work and forklift certification within 90 days

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus years of related work experience or two years post-secondary education with related experience.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
• Proven ability to supervise, plan schedules, and interact professionally with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise moves, recycling, special event setup, and surplus needs for campus operations.
• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing.
• Provide technical guidance in fabrication, installation, maintenance, and service.
• Respond to emergencies, plan for irregular hours, and ensure safety protocols.
