Job summary

Oklahoma State University seeks a motivated Material Mover to join the Facilities Management Moves and Special Events department on campus. You will move materials, operate vehicles, and support event setup while maintaining equipment and reporting issues.

Expect physical labor, potential overtime, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications include a High School/GED and progressive experience in material moving roles; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required with degree conferred by start date.
• Material Mover I requires 1 year related experience.
• Material Mover II requires 2 years related experience.
• Material Mover Lead requires 3 years related experience with supervisory ability and FM Leadership Program completion.

Responsibilities

• Move materials as required by university departments.
• Safely operate vans, trucks, utility vehicles, trailers and related equipment.
• Maintain departmental equipment and report safety issues.
• Set up and take down staging and equipment for campus events.
• Possible overtime and shift work; snow/ice removal when scheduled.
