Job summary

Pinnacle Living’s Cedarfield community in Virginia seeks a Master Tradesman to maintain and repair the physical plant, ensuring reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems. This role supports a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff, with a focus on preventive maintenance and proactive repairs.

You will work 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call rotation to cover after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• High-school education or GED equivalency required.
• Vo-tech training or equivalent on the job experience in associated fields required.
• Preferably holds a journeyman license in the area of expertise for which they are responsible.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance and repair required.
• Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and meet Pinnacle Living‘s risk management requirements to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or repair a wide variety of building features such as doors, locks, windows, screens, fixtures per policy.
• Perform mastery-level duties in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry and support preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist other maintenance team members to complete work on the campus in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshoot equipment, report repairs, and perform daily rounds to monitor facility condition.
• Serve as the designated on-call maintenance person to cover after-hours emergencies.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance programs and improving system efficiency.
• Attend safety meetings and follow department safety procedures.
