Job summary

Pinnacle Living - Cedarfield is seeking a master tradesman to maintain the physical plant and ensure proper operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems. You will work on doors, locks, windows, fixtures, and other building components, following established policies and preventive maintenance practices.

The role requires senior-level knowledge, five years of experience in building maintenance, and a valid Virginia driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High-school education or GED equivalency required.
• Vo-tech training or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Journeyman license preferred for the area of expertise.
• Minimum five years’ maintenance/repair experience.
• Must have Virginia driver’s license and meet risk policies to drive.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain or repair building features (doors, locks, windows, fixtures) per policy.
• Perform trades with mastery in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc., and support preventive maintenance program.
• Assist maintenance team to complete campus repairs in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report repair needs to supervisor.
• Serve as on-call maintenance during after-hours emergencies.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance program development and efficiency.
• Attend safety meetings and training, follow all safety procedures.
• May assist with landscape maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Fulfill additional duties assigned by management.
