Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an onsite Facilities Manager to oversee ~30,000 sq ft of warehouse and office space in Rancho Cordova, CA, with remote oversight of smaller sites in Fremont and Pleasanton.

You will manage MEP systems, budgets, vendor performance, safety programs, and operations, balancing hands-on maintenance with administrative duties to ensure cost-effective, compliant facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial facilities including operations, maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and vendor performance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and building infrastructure.
• Experience leading onsite teams, setting expectations, coaching, and driving accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3–5 years in facilities management; valid driver’s license.
• Experience with budgeting and financial controls for operating and capital projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and vendor collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements by vendors and service providers.
• Build and maintain client relationships; serve as point of contact for facility matters.
• Plan and manage capital and operating projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets; identify cost savings.
• Conduct routine facility inspections for regulatory compliance and efficiency.
• Oversee EHS programs to promote a safe workplace.
• Manage vendor contracts, proposals, and invoicing.
• Provide training on facility operations, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Provide leadership and supervision to facility staff, including recruitment and development.
• Lead CBRE RISE values in daily operations and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day operational challenges and optimize processes.
