Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee multiple locations, ensuring safe and efficient operation of buildings, systems, and property. You will implement work order processes, bid on repairs, supervise security and renovations, and manage vendor contracts.

The role demands 5+ years in facility management, strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and the ability to work flexible hours; budgeting and coordination with staff are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical school preferred.
• 5+ years of facility management experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; basic repairs capability.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to manage work orders and budgeting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facilities, property, and equipment for condition and safety.
• Implement and maintain work order systems for major locations.
• Recommend improvements and perform minor repairs and upkeep.
• Secure and monitor maintenance-related contracts and bids.
• Oversee security systems and renovation projects.
• Manage file storage, shredding, and vendor lists.
• Interface with staff to meet licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Track maintenance requests and arrange necessary repairs.
• Develop and administer annual maintenance budgets.
• Oversee janitorial contracts to ensure cleanliness.
