Job summary

Paycom is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property maintenance across multiple sites in Charlotte, NC. The role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, appliances, and safety-critical components, while keeping preventive maintenance on schedule.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3 years in apartment maintenance, and up-to-date EPA Universal and HVAC certifications. A CPO is a plus. Travel between properties is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related apartment maintenance experience.
• Up-to-date EPA Universal and HVAC Certification from an approved authority.
• CPO pool certification not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes service requests within 24 hours.
• Diagnoses and performs maintenance/repair on electrical, plumbing, A/C/heating, appliances, and related structures.
• Maintains inventory and orders supplies with Property Manager approval.
• Ensures compliance with EPA/OSHA hazardous materials handling and storage.
• Ensures preventive maintenance is planned and executed; schedules followed.
• Obtains bids and coordinates with vendors; monitors pricing.
• Directly supervises maintenance staff; hiring, training, and evaluation.
• Responds to 24-hour maintenance emergencies; communicates with residents and vendors.
• Maintains courtesy and helpful demeanor with residents and coworkers.
