Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a team responsible for operations and maintenance across a portfolio of buildings. You will lead staffing, budgeting, and capital projects, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will manage vendor relationships, coordinate repairs, inspect facilities, and coach staff to deliver efficient, high-quality services in a rigorous environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Schedule and manage team daily activities; establish work schedules, assign tasks and mentor staff.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and QA following regulations; suggest operational efficiencies and upgrades.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing; review price quotes for parts, services and labor.
• Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs and safety.
