Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Facilities Manager to lead the facilities organization for a location or campus, ensuring well-managed buildings, tenant responsiveness, and safety compliance. The role oversees data center critical environments, boosts uptime, and coordinates with client goals 24x7.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required in facilities management, building, business or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in critical or industrial real estate with facility management experience.
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred.
• CFM/IFMA/BOMA certifications recommended; other trainings a plus.
• Ability to read construction specs and blueprints; proficient in contract language.
• Strong MS Office skills; financial management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities, custodial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance in line with Cushman & Wakefield policies and client directives.
• Manage contracts, bid processes, and verify invoices align with pricing; supervise maintenance programs for interior/exterior conditions.
• Respond to tenant requests promptly; ensure ongoing contract programs meet tenant/client needs and SLA terms.
• Ensure documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time (e.g., Property Information Book, Site Operating Manual, Emergency Procedures, OSHA/ADA logs, etc.).
• Ensure uptime, redundancy, and availability in line with client SLAs.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, quarterly re-forecasts, and capital budgets; contribute to 5-year maintenance and cost-reduction plans.
• Collect and analyze data to assess facility management objectives; participate in incident response and RCA for critical events.
• Provide oversight of critical infrastructure systems (HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, BMS).
• Perform additional duties as required; demonstrate leadership, communication, and teamwork.
