Job summary

JLL is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to serve as the single point of contact for client facility operations in Las Colinas, TX. You will guide a team of technicians, vendors and contractors to deliver high-quality services while aligning with short- and long-term client goals.

The role emphasizes budgeting, reporting, and continuous process improvement, with a focus on reducing operating costs and increasing productivity in a corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with emphasis in Facilities Management or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in facilities management in corporate, third-party, or consulting environments.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities with both technical and administrative staff.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CMMS systems (Corrigo is a plus).
• Experience with budget development and management.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in implementing short and long-term client goals and projects.
• Develop and implement programs to reduce operating costs and boost productivity.
• Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors and contractors per policy.
• Lead facilities staff to meet service levels within budget.
• Oversee development and management of capital and expense budgets with client liaisons.
• Complete regular reporting and forecasting in line with client records.
• Recommend capital improvements and prepare operating budget reports and variance analyses.

What this job involves

The Facilities Manager serves as the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the General Manager and with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role coordinates and manages tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction while supporting the implementation of short and long-term goals and projects for the client through innovative programs and processes that reduce operating costs and increase productivity.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Support the General Manager in implementing short and long-term goals and projects for the client
• Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce operating costs and increase productivity
• Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors while ensuring compliance with client and JLL policies
• Lead facilities staff to deliver expected service levels to the client within the prescribed budget
• Oversee development and management of capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with client representatives
• Complete monthly/quarterly/annual reporting requirements accurately and on time following client's record keeping policies
• Recommend capital improvements and prepare operating budget reports, monthly forecasts, and variance reports

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis
• 5+ years industry experience required either in a corporate environment, third party service provider, or as consultant
• Strong leadership and management skills with ability to manage both technical and administrative staff
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication/presentation abilities
• Proficient in MS programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Computer proficiency in CMMS systems. Corrigo a bonus.
• Demonstrated experience in budget development and management

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA preferred
• Experience with capital improvement planning and implementation
• Knowledge of facilities management best practices and innovation programs
• Experience with contractor management and service delivery oversight
• Familiarity with KPI development and performance measurement systems
• Understanding of facilities compliance and safety requirements
• Experience with client relationship management and satisfaction initiatives
