About The Role

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings.

This role is part of the Facilities Management area, focusing on operations of assets and supporting Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee hiring.
  • Manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and set deadlines.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain client relationships and handle unresolved facility issues.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, capital projects, and variance reports.
  • Perform facility inspections, ensure compliance, and suggest operational improvements.
  • Manage environmental health and safety procedures.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, invoicing, and procurement.
  • Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety.
  • Lead by example, embody CBRE values, and influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
  • Apply disciplinary knowledge to achieve team and departmental goals.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues effectively.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education may substitute. Valid driver’s license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills for handling sensitive information and performance expectations.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and improve team performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a curious mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations.

The salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 annually, with potential bonuses. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
