Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a motivated FM Intern to join the AMS Real Estate & Facilities team in San Jose. You will support daily office operations, vendor coordination, and data analysis to improve performance and employee experience.

You will gain hands‑on experience in facilities operation, ticket analytics, P/O and invoice workflows, and regional reporting while collaborating with IFM vendors and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and work‑order trends.
• Highly organized with a strong sense of responsibility in handling financial documents and invoices.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal employees and external vendors.
• Motivated to learn new tools and systems.
• Self‑motivated with a growth‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FM team with day‑to‑day office operations to ensure a high‑quality employee experience.
• Monitor and analyze ticket data from the Global Ticketing System, track response times and KPIs, identify recurring facility issues, and provide data‑driven recommendations for operational improvement.
• Support the end‑to‑end purchase order and invoice workflow; verify service delivery against budget, billing; resolve payment discrepancies with vendors, and assist in monthly budget tracking.
• Collaborate with third‑party service providers (IFM vendors) to ensure service level agreements are met and operational standards are maintained.
• Collect and analyze operational metrics (e.g., occupancy rates, utility consumption, facility spend) to support the FM team in strategic decision‑making and regional reporting.
