Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a capable maintenance technician for Burlington Mall. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, along with structural elements of the property.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, minor repairs to interior/exterior areas, lighting maintenance, preventive maintenance scheduling, and coordination with marketing and leasing for events. OSHA safety compliance and inventory management are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Technical school certifications and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and troubleshoot/repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and structural elements.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs to interior/exterior areas (painting, drywall, lighting, plumbing, and related tasks).
• Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and cleanliness of property.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Local Leasing for events, cart placement and repair.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as directed by management.
• Maintain inventories, records, MSDS, supplies, and tools.
• Inspect air handling units, belts, filters, and grease components; document activity.
• Possibly perform exterior custodial duties and trash handling as needed.
