Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring that building interiors, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will complete work orders, perform preventative maintenance, assist with make-ready inspections, manage inventory, and assist in property inspections to identify safety concerns.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications are required.
• All state and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, return unused items, and notify the supervisor about reorders.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing parts rather than replacing them when possible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal (refrigerant recycling)

State and Local certifications

Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property
