Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician II in Tallahassee to maintain the physical condition of the property, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for turnovers. You will respond to service requests, monitor major building systems, and coordinate with vendors under the supervision of the Facilities Manager.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma with 3–5 years of maintenance experience
• HVAC certification/ EPA 608 (Core, Type I, II, III)
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required
• Experience with computer programs and basic operations (Entrata, CMMS, BAS/ DCS)

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition per SOPs and safety standards
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs
• Manage turnovers and coordinate with vendors and managers
• Inspect life safety systems and document work
• Assist in emergency and disaster preparedness planning
