Job summary

The Scion Group is hiring a Facilities Technician II to support maintenance, preventive tasks and turnovers at our properties. You will work in a fast-paced, apartment-focused environment and ensure safety and high service standards for residents.

The role requires HVAC certification, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, and ability to operate BAS, CMMS and Entrata. Willingness to travel and after-hours availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma with 3–5 years of full-time maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification / EPA 608 certification (Core, Type I, II & III).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear communication skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Comfort using Entrata, CMMS and Building Automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance and repair service requests promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and prepare apartments for turnovers.
• Maintain safety and functionality of buildings and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule maintenance tasks.
• Document work performed, parts used, and follow-up actions daily.
• Support life safety, water, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Assist in emergency and after-hours coverage as needed.
