Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 for the Fort Mifflin Readiness Center. You will perform a variety of repairs to keep facilities and equipment in safe, working order and support maintenance operations for military members and veterans.

Responsibilities include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry tasks, system monitoring, and coordinating with contractors. A PA Class C driver's license is required, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or equivalent building/plant maintenance experience.
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, painting, electrical, masonry, and plumbing tasks.
• Monitor building systems such as HVAC, alarms, and generators.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas to be safe and functional.
• Operate tools and equipment for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds work.
• Assist with coordinating contracted repair work and vendor communication.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards or incidents.
