Job summary

Snelling Austin is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to work independently and with a team to maintain building operations, safety, and grounds. The role emphasizes courteous interaction with the educational community and public, supporting daily maintenance activities to promote comfort and safety for clients and staff.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, performing repairs, managing supplies, operating forks and UTVs, and coordinating deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Clean motor vehicle records clearance required.
• Experience in building maintenance or construction.
• Ability to work both independently and with directions.
• Basic arithmetic and safety instruction understanding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.
• Inspect facilities and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Move, install, and repair furniture and equipment as needed.
• Drive company vehicle for pickups and deliveries and maintain company vehicles.
• Coordinate with departments to pick up and deliver materials.
