Qualifications

• Two years of experience in applicable maintenance or construction trade.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs of mechanical systems to include pumps, fans, compressors, and specialty equipment.
• Acquires parts and maintains appropriate stock of material and supplies.
• Assists electricians, plumbers, refrigeration mechanics, carpenters, and others as needed to meet shop goals and objectives.
• Performs basic electrical tasks, such as the replacement of lamps and ballasts.
• Utilizes precision instruments to determine flow rates, pressure drop, etc. to insure proper alignment, installation, and operation of drive components.
• Reads blueprints, works from specifications, and follows instructions both written and oral.
