Job summary

Friendly Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, and to handle grounds upkeep. The role requires autonomy, safety awareness, and meticulous attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with the ability to work independently and with the team to maintain buildings and common areas in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of proven repairs experience: electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC or building maintenance certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary.
• Accept, prioritize, and complete work orders.
• Assist with and conduct preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain electrical, heating, and plumbing systems for functionality.
• Perform general maintenance tasks (grounds, snow removal, setup/takedown).
• Collaborate with Lead Maintenance Tech II and EVS Supervisor.
