Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I to help deliver a safe and well-maintained store environment across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack locations.

The role covers preventive maintenance of buildings, systems, and grounds, under close supervision. A candidate should have basic working knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling, with a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with power tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day preventive maintenance and on-demand requests on the Sales Floor.
• Complete maintenance records accurately and timely.
• Inspect buildings and systems and assist with basic repairs.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, lighting and electrical maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and use PPE and LOTO.
