Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I to ensure reliable building operations, safety, and efficiency. You will support preventive/corrective maintenance, assist with system installations, and help maintain critical facility infrastructure.

The role requires 3–4 years in commercial/industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED (an associate degree or technical training preferred), and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or vocational/technical training preferred.
• 3–4 years of commercial or industrial facility maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and CMMS.
• Knowledge of building systems and safety protocols.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Assist with repairs, installations, and modifications of building equipment.
• Review, create, and maintain CMMS work orders and paperwork.
• Inspect facilities for safety and operational reliability; respond to issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors as needed.
