Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Utility Technician I to support the operations and maintenance team in keeping facilities safe, efficient, and reliable. You will assist with routine maintenance, preventive tasks, and basic troubleshooting while developing mechanical, electrical, and building-system skills.

The role requires one to two years in facility maintenance, EPA certification or willingness to obtain it, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building construction, or plumbing.
• 1–2 years of facility maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficiency.
• CMMS experience required.
• EPA certification or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Criminal background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Support troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of building systems.
• Assist with installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Review and maintain work orders in CMMS with accurate documentation.
• Inspect facilities for hazards and perform reactive and preventive maintenance.
• Operate and maintain fire/life safety systems as required.
• Document time and notes for completed tasks.
