Job summary

The Maintenance Person I at HMSHost is responsible for general maintenance and repair to ensure safety and regulatory compliance at the location. This non-exempt role reports to the Maintenance Manager or Director of Operations and supports a variety of trades, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing, within budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry preferred.
• OSHA-10 training required; ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs within guidelines of safety standards.
• Maintains HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems.
• Ensures facilities comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Coordinates repairs within approved budget and keeps records.
• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules and records.
