Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Maintenance Person III to perform complex maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and, where applicable, facilities. The role typically reports to a Maintenance Manager and supports operations through proactive service and safety compliance.

Key duties include diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems; maintaining preventative maintenance programs; ensuring regulatory safety standards are met; and coordinating repairs within

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent; up to 3 years post-high school trade or technical school preferred
• Requires OSHA-10 certification for Construction and General Industries or willingness to obtain it
• Requires precise hand-eye coordination
• May require a valid driver's license and clean driving record per state requirements

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses and performs repairs within guidelines and safety standards
• Maintains small appliances, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry
• Ensures safe operation of physical structures and equipment according to relevant regulations
• Coordinates repairs within approved budgets
• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules and records
• Performs landscaping and snow removal where applicable
• Follows OSHA regulations and safety protocols
• Performs heavy lifting or moving of equipment as required
