Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Butler County Maintenance Organization, is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 1. The role covers custodial work, basic repairs, and grounds upkeep, with responsibility to operate tools and support a team.

You will follow safety practices, assist skilled workers, and perform a variety of tasks across building, electrical, and mechanical trades. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in general maintenance involving at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Custodial tasks: cleaning floors, furniture, lavatories, and trash removal.
• Grounds care: mowing, raking, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Basic repairs: carpentry, electrical, and plumbing fixes.
• Equipment use: operate and maintain hand and motorized tools.
