Job summary

Kraft Heinz, Inc. in Indiana Kendallville is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability, safety, and GMP-compliant operation of all plant infrastructure.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, utilities, lighting, plumbing, and equipment; adherence to LOTO and food safety standards; collaboration with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams; and supporting OEE improvements. Shift flexibility required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork across shifts and departments.
• Ability to read and interpret daily production schedules.
• Knowledge of safety, food safety, and GMP requirements.
• Proficiency in preventive and corrective maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility infrastructure and exterior areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs and respond to issues.
• Follow LOTO, food safety, and regulatory procedures at all times.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Document work in SAP and communicate status to leadership.
• Support improvements to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
