Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Kendallville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead plant maintenance operations and drive reliability across electrical, mechanical, and utility systems. You will manage TPM programs, maintenance logs, and safety initiatives while coordinating with engineering on capital items.

You will guide maintenance staff, optimize equipment uptime, and ensure adherence to production schedules and budgets, including safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 1–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance management system operations.
• Experience with TPM systems preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance personnel to ensure systems operate at peak capability to meet schedules and quality targets.
• Develops preventative maintenance procedures to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance per SOPs and budgets.
• Provide maintenance training and oversee safety programs and logs.
• Lead continuous improvement via equipment modifications and Six Sigma/Lean initiatives.
• Ensure safe, operable equipment and manage budget variances.
