Job summary

Kendallville Plant of Kraft Heinz is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all plant maintenance activities, manage TPM/QRMP processes, and lead efficiency improvements across electrical, mechanical, and utility systems. The role focuses on reliability, safety, and cost management to meet production schedules.

The ideal candidate has a technical engineering background with leadership experience in manufacturing and familiarity with maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related Technical field is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1-5 years of related leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.
• Must be familiar with maintenance management system operations.
• Experience implementing and maintaining TPM Systems is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems is a plus.
• Understanding of direct and overhead cost systems.
• Experience using, troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule to include days, afternoons, midnights, and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance personnel to ensure that all systems operate at their highest capability to meet production schedules, quality, costs and priorities.
• Implements preventive maintenance procedures to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Develops and reviews maintenance logs and operational standards; coordinates corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Oversees maintenance budget and utilizes workforce and equipment efficiently to maintain positive variance.
• Participates in QRMP audits and assists in corrective actions.
• Leads Six Sigma/Lean initiatives and KHMS changes with engineering collaboration.
