Job summary

Kraft Heinz's Woodstock plant is seeking a Maintenance Manager responsible for maintenance, reliability, utilities and plant engineering to ensure safe, compliant, reliable and cost-effective operations.

You will lead the KHMS pillar, manage budgets and forecasts, coordinate with Production, Sanitation and Quality, and drive improvements from planning through contractor management to reduce losses and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Progressive leadership experience in maintenance or reliability in a high-speed manufacturing environment; food/beverage preferred.
• Experience leading maintenance planning, scheduling, preventive/predictive maintenance, CMMS/SAP work management, root-cause analysis and cost control.
• Working knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, controls/automation, utilities and facility systems.
• Experience leading teams, budgets and cross-functional improvement in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial data and drive action across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance work following EHS requirements and safety standards.
• Govern ammonia refrigeration and Process Safety Management activities, including audits and training.
• Ensure hygienic maintenance to protect food safety and quality.
• Own KHMS pillar deployment and monthly reviews.
• Maintain asset hierarchy and develop maintenance strategies based on criticality.
• Create and govern rolling 52-week maintenance plan and two-week detailed schedule.
• Improve preventive maintenance and reduce reactive work through analysis and problem solving.
• Coordinate downtime with Production and Sanitation for readiness.
• Support utilities and facilities maintenance including ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, water and wastewater.
• Manage maintenance projects from design to handoff to operations.
• Support OT infrastructure and security controls with IT resources.
• Lead budget planning and monthly forecasting; manage variances.
• Oversee spare-parts governance and inventory optimization.
• Select and manage contractors and OEMs with safety and cost controls.
• Lead, coach and develop maintenance teams in a unionized environment.
