Job summary

Kiln is a flex office and lifestyle brand expanding with two new Dallas locations in Preston Hollow and Plano. The Facilities Maintenance Tech supports the Senior Facilities Manager and Community Directors, handling upkeep, repairs, and coordination with vendors to keep the coworking spaces welcoming.

Scheduled to open Preston Hollow mid May and Plano in early October, the role involves installing furniture, maintaining appliances, and assisting construction and design teams during build-out.

Qualifications

• Finish carpentry or painting experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and manage repairs.

Responsibilities

• Patch and paint drywall.
• Paint touch-ups and furniture repairs.
• Hang whiteboards and TVs.
• Repair or install appliances.
• Move office panels and desks.
• Hang art and fix door locks.
• Perform preventative maintenance (HVAC/water filters).
• Maintain inventory of stored items.
• Schedule and manage temporary staff, contractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate approved capital projects as directed by the Community Director/Build and Procurement Team.
