Job summary

GOAL High School is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support all facilities needs across the state. Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, and maintaining safe, efficient school operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 3+ years in commercial building maintenance, and a valid Colorado driver’s license, with a preference for formal trade certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Associate degree or higher in Project Management or trade certificate preferred.
• Certifications/licenses in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry preferred.
• Three years of commercial office building maintenance experience required.
• Three years of experience using power/hand tools in a commercial setting.
• Knowledge of general safety procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage tickets for regional facility issues and coordinate repairs.
• Perform basic maintenance and small-scale repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
• Maintain facility grounds including landscaping, snow/ice removal, and trash removal.
• Assemble/disassemble office furniture and move equipment as needed.
• Install flooring, lighting, and safety-related equipment; ensure proper maintenance.
