Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Maintenance HVAC Technician to support school department buildings and grounds. Under the Director of Maintenance, you will perform general maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring heating, lighting and ventilation are functioning properly across all locations.

The role requires 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license, with knowledge of safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of maintenance experience with electrical, plumbing, or mechanical issues.
• Knowledge of maintenance supplies, equipment and methods.
• Ability to repair buildings and equipment and perform general fixes.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and keep routine records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical, plumbing, heating and related equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Operate machinery and coordinate maintenance of athletic fields and systems.
• Maintain heating, cooling and ventilation systems across locations.
• Perform general repairs (painting, doors, shelves, etc.) and move/arrange equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls; assist with snow removal when required.
