Job summary

Cartwright School District is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform semi-skilled maintenance tasks and assist journey-level staff in trades. The role may involve leading Maintenance Assistants and coordinating daily assignments.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and two years of related facility maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Valid Arizona Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Lead or assist maintenance staff by prioritizing and assigning work.
Constructs, installs, repairs, and maintains structures and equipment such as walls, fencing, bleachers, and desks.
Perform routine electrical tasks: install light fixtures, maintain emergency exit lights, repair motors and coolers.
Prepare paperwork related to daily assignments.
Move equipment, furniture, and boxes as directed.
Perform grounds maintenance: trim trees, mow, clean areas, and manage playgrounds.
