Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems at a Miami Beach property. Under limited supervision, you will handle interior and exterior tasks, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

The role requires at least two years in building trades, strong safety awareness, and good communication skills. Shifts are non-exempt, hourly, with weekday coverage and no travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of general experience in building trades or maintenance.
• Ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• May require additional trade experience or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs outside routine scope.
• Maintain maintenance logs and service due dates.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper use of new equipment.
• Handle daily work orders for carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and related tasks.
• Assist with recording and reporting maintenance activities.
