Job summary

KW Property Management, LLC in Miami Beach, FL seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, indoors and outdoors, under limited supervision. You will coordinate with vendors, track service schedules, and ensure safe, clean condition of common areas.

Minimum two years in building trades, ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes, and good communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Ability to react and address all emergency situations within 30 minutes; may be called after-hours.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule vendors and contractors for repairs outside routine maintenance.
• Maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
• Work in a safe manner and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain an operating environment to achieve a satisfactory level of Residents' service.
• Adhere to the preventative maintenance program for the Community.
• Perform minor maintenance replacement and repair in carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, and painting through daily work orders.
