Job summary

KW Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a property in Highland Beach, FL. The role requires routine maintenance of building interiors and exteriors, scheduled tasks, and coordinating with vendors.

The position is non-exempt and may involve after-hours emergencies and occasional on-call duties. The candidate should have at least two years in building trades, be able to react quickly to emergencies, and maintain safe work practices while supporting resident services.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Ability to react and address emergencies within 30 minutes; after-hours availability.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for repairs and emergencies outside routine maintenance.
• Maintains a schedule of service due dates and next service due.
• Works in a safe manner and ensures safety of themselves and others in building.
• Perform minor maintenance in carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, painting, flooring and other areas as needed.
• Complete all required forms and work orders using KWPMC system.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• May participate in the on-call schedule rotation.
