Position Description

Position Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Reports To: General Manager

Direct Reports: None

Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE

Purpose

The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations, enhancing member experience. The ideal candidate is organized, diligent, a good communicator, and customer service-oriented.

Deliverables

• Provide daily verbal updates to the General Manager and document work completed.
• Coordinate with the General Manager to schedule and verify work completion.
• Inspect and test equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure safety of members, staff, and assets through inspections and communication.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in equipment and systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as per the CMMS system.
• Respond promptly to work requests and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Monitor and test building systems for optimal performance.
• Maintain and refurbish equipment, including assembly and painting.
• Address urgent maintenance issues quickly.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform general upkeep tasks like patching, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
