Position Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Reports To: General Manager

Direct Reports: None

Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE

Purpose

The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems to ensure smooth facility operations and enhance member experience. The role requires being engaging, diligent, organized, results-driven, and customer service-oriented.

Deliverables

• Provide daily verbal updates and document work completed; seek feedback from the General Manager.
• Coordinate with the General Manager to schedule and verify work completion.
• Inspect and test equipment and systems for proper functioning.
• Ensure safety of members, staff, and assets through inspections and communication.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as outlined in the CMMS system.
• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
• Maintain safety compliance and accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Monitor and test building systems for optimal performance.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including equipment assembly, painting, and refurbishing.
• Address urgent maintenance issues quickly.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform general upkeep tasks such as patching, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
