Position Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Reports To: General Manager

Direct Reports: None

Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE

Purpose

The Facility Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations, enhancing member experience. The role requires engagement, organization, diligence, and strong customer service skills.

Deliverables

• Provide daily verbal updates and document work for the General Manager
• Coordinate work schedules with the General Manager
• Inspect and test equipment and systems
• Ensure safety of members, staff, and assets
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions
• Conduct preventive maintenance
• Respond to work orders promptly
• Maintain safety compliance and accurate records
• Monitor equipment performance
• Maintain gym equipment and perform refurbishments
• Address emergencies quickly
• Collaborate with team, contractors, and vendors
• Perform general upkeep tasks

Requirements

Entry level, full-time position within the Health, Wellness & Fitness industry, management and manufacturing functions.
